Rest Haven Cemtery's Annual Memorial Day Celebration
Monday, May 27, 2013 : 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
The community is invited to Rest Haven Cemetery’s annual Memorial Day Celebration on Monday, May 27th.
Over 300 American Flags – donated by the families of Veterans – will be flown throughout the day to honor the Veterans, their families and loved ones.
This event will begin at 11:00am with a bagpipe rendition of “Amazing Grace” followed by a stirring performance of “Echo Taps”. At 11:30am, the well known Appalachian Wind Quintet will perform its Annual Concert,
The performance will be held at the top of the hill adjacent to Rest Haven’s Funeral Home and Chapel.
