Adelene Betty (Grogan) Frey
Adelene Betty (Grogan) Frey, 86, of Hagerstown, passed away on Thursday, November 6,2014 at Julia Manor Health Care Center.
Born March 22, 1928 in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of the late Rosser M. and Rhoda A. (Norris) Grogan.
She retired from Herald Mail in 1993 after working there many years.
She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Russell W. Frey.
She is survived by a daughter, Laurie Ann Frey of Sparks, MD; two sisters, Janice A. Watson and husband John of Venice, FL., Barbara G. Hamman of Osprey, FL; two nephews, Stephen R. Watson of Englewood, CO, J. Daniel Watson of Littleton, CO.; three great-nieces; and two great-nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
