Agnes Elizabeth Hesson

Hagerstown, MD Agnes Elizabeth Hesson, 86, of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Homewood of Williamsport.
Born August 16, 1926 in Somerset Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Hilda (Mechalani) Leonardi.
Mrs. Hesson was a homemaker and had previously worked in the personnel department at Fairchild Corporation.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she taught catechism and was a den mother. She also was a volunteer librarian at the Licolnshire Elementary School and was an avid gardener.
She is survived by her loving husband Harry R. Hesson; two children, Brian M. Hesson and wife Brenda of Big Clifty, Ky. and Kathy H. Fronda and husband Greg of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; three granddaughters and four great grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with the Rev. Christopher P. Moore officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M.
Memorial contributions may be made in Agnes's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 5 Public Square #307, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
