Alice Marie (Flook) Kline, 64, of Smithsburg, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.
Born Nov. 21, 1946, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Martha (Butts) Flook.
She worked as a clerk at Nu-Way Cleaners in Waynesboro, Pa., for the past 26 years.
She attended Waynesboro Bible Church.
Alice is survived by her loving husband, Daniel F. Kline; a daughter, Stephenie D. Bitner of Hedgesville, W.Va.; two nieces and a nephew whom she raised, Martha Benner of Leitersburg, Joanie Sanders of Waynesboro, and Thomas Long of Leitersburg; two brothers, Robert Benner and Charles Benner, both of Hagerstown; four grandchildren, Denise Keller of Waynesboro, Tabatha Troup of Martinsburg, and Michael Bitner and Cody Bitner, both of Hedgesville; two great-nephews, Jeremiah Sanders and Joshua Sanders; and two great-grandchildren, Makenzie Bitner and Riley Bitner.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by two daughters, Denise Kline and Joann Kline and one brother, Jerry Benner
A funeral service will be conducted Monday, May 9, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Darrell Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Friends will be received Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
