Allan Lewis Purdham I, 77, of Boonsboro, Md, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at his home.
Allan was born in Hagerstown, on February 19, 1940. He was the son of the late Lydia (Toms) and Thurman Purdham. In addition to his parents, Allan is also preceded in death by his son, Allan Lewis Purdham II.
Allan was a "Jack of All Trades".
He is survived by three daughters, Marshelle Stotler and husband Ernie, Sandi Leissler, and Wendy Griffith and husband Brian; daughter-in-law Kris Purdham; brother, Rodney Purdham and wife June; grandchildren, Stephanie Clever and husband Chris, Lydia Purdham, Sam Stevens and husband Wayne, George Leissler and wife Amanda and Jordan Purdham; step grandchildren, Jackie Ainsworth and Justin Griffith; 4 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Inc. 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown, MD 21742. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received on Monday from 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
