Ann G. Rambo, 91, of Murrells Inlet, SC, died on Sunday September 7, 2014 at her home.
Born on April 13, 1923 in Hagerstown, MD she was the daughter of the late Paul and Helen Gruber.
She graduated from St. Mary's College in Maryland and worked as a secretary at Fairchild during WW II. After marriage she stayed at home to raise her family. She was an avid crossword worker and enjoyed music.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry B. Rambo. She is survived by 2 daughters: Elizabeth Temple and her husband David of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Nancy Bachtell and her husband Richard of Hagerstown, Maryland; a grandchild, Christopher Bachtell and his wife Kristi; 2 great-grandchildren: Caleb and Cody Bachtell also living in Hagerstown and her first cousin William Howard from Baltimore, Maryland.
A Memorial service and burial will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 7, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating.
.The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Rambo's name to Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church, 2637 S. Highway 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
