LaPLATA, Md. and ROMNEY, W.Va. â?? Ann Mary Fearnow, 90, formerly of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, March 11, 2012, at her daughterâ??s home in Romney.
Born Sept. 18, 1921, in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Carrie Marshall.
In addition to being a homemaker, she also had worked in bookkeeping for J.J. Newberryâ??s of Hagerstown.
She was a member of St. Annâ??s Catholic Church, Hagerstown.
She is survived by two daughters, Coreen â??Coryâ? Stenberg and husband, Jim, of Romney and Sandra â??Sandyâ? Bottorf and husband, Harry, of LaPlata; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy M. Fearnow, and one sister, Winifred Carter.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 15, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Monsignor Al Smith and the Rev. Quintin Simpson officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home two hours before services.
Memorial contributions may be made in Annâ??s name to the Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV 25403.
