Anna Virginia Roberts

Anna Virginia Roberts, 85, of Hag. MD went to her Heavenly home Wed. Jan. 10, 2018.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Mon., Jan. 15, 2018 at Rest Haven Funeral Home. Pastor Joseph Burdette, First Church of God, will be officiating. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
Anna was born in Upton, PA to George and Verba Buterbaugh on October 22, 1932.
She was married to Walter Roberts on August 17, 1952.
Before her marriage she worked as a waitress. Following the birth of her 8 children she was a stay at home mother. Anna was a devoted loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, loved playing card games, watching game shows and soap operas.
She never lost sight of her faith and hope in Jesus as her Lord and Savior and without a doubt is rejoicing in Heaven.
She was loved by all who knew her, always, kind and a feisty sense of humor.
Anna is survived by 6 children: Marcella
(Leon), Roxanne, Wesley (Barbara), Selena, Lyle, and Melissa.
12 grandchildren:Michael, Robert, Gabrielle, Jordan, Megan, Logan, Brian, Autumn, Andrew, Angel, Amy and Stacey as well as 9 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Anna had a great fondness for Granddaughter Megans husband Gary and Autumns boyfriend Caleb.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Walter, sisters Lillian and Mildred, and daughters Linda and Paula.
Following the funeral and graveside service a fellowship gathering will be held at the home of Melissa Weyant 17807 Oak Ridge Dr, Hag. MD.
