Anthony Moser Hank Warrenfeltz

Anthony Moser "Hank" Warrenfeltz, 82 of Williamsport, passed away, Friday, November 24, 2017 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.

Born October 17, 1935 in Gapland, Maryland he was the son of the late Alvey Warrenfeltz and Rose (Moser) Warrenfeltz Crowl and his step father, Terry Crowl. In addition to his parents and step father he also was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marian I. (Skibo) Warrenfeltz; two brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Warrenfeltz retired from the US Army with 22 and a half years of service as a Sergeant 1st Class, E7. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service, the Bronze Star for distinguishing himself by meritorious service with the military operations against hostile forces and the Bronze Star for meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces. After his retirement from the Army he worked as a chef for JC Penny's restaurant, Fountainhead Country Club and the Maryland Correctional Training Center, all of Hagerstown.

He was a member of the Williamsport American Legion Post 202, Washington County Am Vets Post 10, Harvey D. Zeigler VFW Post 6319, Greencastle, Pa.; Improved Order of Redmen, Conococheague Tribe 84, Williamsport and a member of the Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M., Cumberland, Md.

Mr. Warrenfeltz was an avid reader, fisherman and mushroom hunter.

He is survived by two step sons, Jim Flannery and John Flannery; three step daughters, Debbie Yellott, Eileen Dickinson and Linda Judd; one brother, Bob Warrenfeltz; a half brother, Lehman Crowl; ten step grandchildren; many step great grandchildren and his dear friends, Paul and Ingrid Cronise.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, november 30, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Richard Bower officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery where military honors will be accorded by the Maryland National Guard honor guard.

Friends will be received on Thursday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
