Antonio Delgado Rodriguez, 66, of Hagerstown, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born January 17, 1948 in Guayama, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Ernesto and Amelia Rodriguez Delgado.
He was a past professor of graphic arts in Miami, FL. and worked in printing before retirement.
Antonio was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Hagerstown. He enjoyed singing, teaching, and reading.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Minerva (Dueno) Delgado; a son, Antonio Delgado, Jr. and wife Kristin; a daughter, Ivette Delgado Odom, all of Hagerstown; two brothers, Alex Rodriguez and wife Miriam of OK., Rey Rodriguez of Illinois; five sisters, Iris Rodriguez, Celimar Rodriguez, Alma Rodriguez, Jenny Rodriguez, Miriam Rodriguez, all of Puerto Rico; two grandsons, Antonio Delgado, III and wife Chandance, Nathaniel Odom; and two great-grandchildren, Lily Rue Delgado-Budge and Leo Royce Delgado-Budge.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00pm on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 11507 Robinwood Dr., Hagerstown, with Pastors Alex Rodriguez and Alex J. Rodriguez officiating.
Inurnment with military honors will be held in Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone, MD at 1:00pm on Thursday, May 22, 2014.
