Arthur Eugene Wilhide, Jr., 75, of Hagerstown, passed away, Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Golden Living Center, Hagerstown.
Born August 9, 1939 in Hagerstown he was the son of the late, Arthur E., Sr. and Leola (Miller) Wilhide. He also was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia L. (Andrews) and one brother, Donnie Wilhide.
Mr. Wilhide retired with 30 years of service with General Motors Corp.
He was a US Army veteran and a member of the Williamsport American Legion.
He is survived by two children, Scott G. Wilhide and Cheryl Jean Wilhide both of Hagerstown; one granddaughter, Amanda Marie Earler; two sisters, Joanne Brown and Linda Romsberger, both of Hagerstown.
Graveside services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown is assisting the family with the arrangements.
