Barbara Jean Harshman, 64, of Hagerstown, passed away at Doey's House on Saturday, November 15, 2020.
Born on December 3, 1955 in Hagerstown, Barbara was the daughter of Dorothy (Metz) Peterson and the late Thomas Peterson. She was also predeceased by her son, John Massie, III.
Barbara loved the outdoors and enjoyed biking, fishing, and walking. She also enjoyed slot machines.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Richard Harshman; and her daughters, Betty Higgins and Kimberly Massie. She is also survived by her brothers, Tommy Peterson, Denny Peterson, Charlie Peterson, David Peterson, Timothy Peterson, Donald "Porky" Peterson, and Michael Peterson; as well as eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Rest Haven Funeral Home on Thursday, November 19 from 2:00-4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Community Free Clinic at https://mycommunityfreeclinic.org/
Rest Haven Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
