Betty Jane Fox, 87, of Hagerstown, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at the Golden Living Center.
Born February 14, 1927, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Albert Clayton and Louise Virginia (Baker) Fox.
She had worked in the cafeteria at Hood College in Frederick.
Betty was an avid Elvis fan.
She is survived by her son, Stephen A. Fox and wife Kathy L. Fox of Hagerstown; two granddaughters, Kimberly Hodge and Luvinnia Kemp; a great-granddaughter, Jamie Hodge; a nephew, Sonny Grable; and two sisters, Rose Sine and Thelma Poole.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Flowers and June Grable; and a brother, Niles B. Fox.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00am on Thursday, March 13, 2014 in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
The family would like to send their deepest appreication to Hospice of Washington County and Golden Living Center.
