Betty Lou (Hurd) Moore, 77, of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, August 10, 2014 at her home.
Born Dec. 5, 1936 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Marshall E. and Milbrey E. (Roher) Hurd. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by one brother, Marshall E. "Sonny" Hurd, Jr. and one sister, Judith Ann Ott.
Mrs. Moore retired as a production assistant for Reynolds and Reynolds Printing Co. in Hagerstown.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald L. Moore; three children, Kay Kennedy, Michael Moore and Tim Moore, all of Hagerstown; one sister, Connie Jean Wolinski of Hagerstown; 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Private graveside services will be conducted at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740
Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
