Betty Louise Beckley, 78, of Clear Spring, passed away, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at her home.
Born October 17, 1939 in Hagerstown, Md. She was the daughter of the late, Garrett and Fannie Poffenberger. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Kenneth Poffenberger and a grandson, Ronald May.
Betty retired from Hub Labels where she worked in quality control.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsport; Greencastle Sportsman Ladies Auxiliary and the North American Rod and Gun Club.
Her hobbies included bingo and gambling.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Donald Wayne Beckley; one son, Thomas Beckley and wife, Jennifer of Leesburg, Va.; one daughter, Lisa Seaman and husband, Bruce of New Cumberland, Pa.; four brothers, Edward Poffenberger of Keedysville, Wilbur Poffenberger of Boonsboro, Gary Poffenberger of Hagerstown and Jeff Poffenberger of Greencastle; five sisters, Ruby Kline, Connie McGowan, Thelma Socks, Thea Gross and Tena Brashears, all of Hagerstown; three grandchildren, Terri, Jason and Melody; two great grandchildren, Evan and Brookelynn; two step great grandchildren, Julie and Jennifer; one great great granddaughter, Addison; five step great great grandchildren, Braydon, Cayson, Emily, Easton and Cambrie; survived also by many friends.
Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown with Rev. Kimberly Nunberg officiating.
Inurnment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
