Betty Romaine Freeze

Betty R. Freeze, 92, of Hagerstown, formerly of Chambersburg, passed away, Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born, April 8, 1922 in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late, David Bruce and Francis (Boggs) Reasner. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Thomas Freeze; one sister, Alice Stymiest and three brothers, William "Bill" , Hammett and Edward H. Reasner.
Mrs. Freeze was Methodist by faith and was a member of the Leitersburg Senior Citizens.
In addition to being a homemaker, Mrs. Freeze had worked as a switch board operator at Washington County Hospital and retired as an occupational aid at Brook Lane Health Services, Hagerstown.
She is survived by three daughters, Jennifer K. Rickrode and husband Terry of Ijamsville, Md., Sally M. Kormanec of Chambersburg and Pagan D. Domer of Hagerstown; four grandchildren, Shannon Freeze-Flory of Dallas Tx., Ann Marie Kessel of Fort Worth, Tx., Matthew Alan Kormanec of Syracuse, NY and Taylor Alan Pheabus of Hagerstown; five great grandchildren; one sister, Martha Ross of Chambersburg; one brother, David Reasner and wife Margaret of Fayetteville, Pa.; two sisters-in-law, Jane Reasner and Vanda Reasner and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
