Betty Wanda Powell, 75, of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Mt. Airy, Md.
Born February 17, 1943 in Culpepper, Va. she was the daughter of the late, Bernard W. and Virginia Mae (Hawkins) Dennis.
Mrs. Powell was a homemaker and a member of the Virginia Ave. Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph L. Powell; one son, Benjamin Bennett (Phyllis) of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; two step children, Connie Young (Joseph) of Williamsport, Md. and Steven Powell (Leslie) of Hagerstown; two brothers, Ralph StClair of Frederick, Md. and Douglas StClair of Hagerstown; five granddaughters and a niece.
A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington St., Hagerstown.
Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown is assisting the family with the arrangements.
