Beverly Jean Royce, 79, of Hagerstown, passed away, Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at Julia Manor Health Care Center.
Born November 23, 1937 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Lester L. and Mary E. (Sypolt) Smith. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by five siblings.
Mrs. Royce was a homemaker and had worked as an attendant for a local Laundromat.
She had attended Grace United Methodist Church, Hagerstown.
She is survived by one son, Scott A. Royce; one daughter, Debbie K. Royce; six grandchildren, three of whom she raised, Katelynn Plummer, Amber Mawyer, Brittany Hite, Samantha Hite, Chelsea Royce and Tabitha Royce and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-6 P.M.
