Bobby Louis Young, Jr., 38, of Waldorf, MD, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 31, 2015, in Hagerstown, MD.
Born July 10, 1976, in Ft. Ord, California, he was the beloved son of Bobby Louis Young, Sr. and Velda Fran (Gray) Young.
Bobby was a 1995 graduate of Millington Central High School.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Bobby was a member of Bright Hill Baptist Church in Burlison, TN. He worked as a IT Network Engineer for GEICO in Chevy Chase, MD.
Bobby enjoyed weightlifting, watching movies and sports; especially football. His favorite team was the Bears. He adored his children and loved to spend time with them.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his loving wife, Victoria Marie Young; six children, Talaya Young, Nevaeha Young, Micahia Young, Jurniah Young, Kelsey Robinson, Chloe Dorsey; a sister, Cristy Young; a brother, Warren Young; a nephew, Adrian Ross; and a niece, Kiersten Young.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
