Bradley D. DeHaven

December 30, 1952 — March 23, 2015

Bradley D. DeHaven, 62 of Hagerstown, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at his home.

Born December 30, 1952, he was the son of the late Hayes and Winifred (Wilson) DeHaven. He was also preceded in death by his beloved dog, “Rinnie”.

He is survived by three sisters, Shelley Young of North Carolina, Kathy Mertz of Hagerstown, and Lisa Faith of Williamsport; one niece; three nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.

He worked at Bowman Trucking for many years.

Bradley was involved with Alcoholics Anonymous for over 25 years. He was a great source of strength to a lot of people and was well loved and will be greatly missed.

He was a true animal lover and loved his cat “Garfield” very much.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Pete Verphy officiating. Inurnment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A celebration of life gathering will follow the burial at 28 South Restaurant, 28 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Brad's name to any animal rescue or shelter of your choice.
