Brenda Jeanne Laughlin

Brenda Jeanne Laughlin, 67, of Hagerstown, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020, peacefully at Julia Manor Nursing Home, Hagerstown.
Born on February 24, 1953 in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Virginia Lee (Whalen) and Charles R. Laughlin. She was predeceased by her sister Pam Laughlin.
Brenda obtained a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland and retired as a social worker at Washington County Hospital. She was a counselor in the WCH Rehab Department as well as in private practice and had previously worked with older adults in Howard County.
She is survived by her brother Russell Laughlin, one nephew Jeramie Laughlin, great-niece Leona R. Laughlin, and step-mother Estelle Laughlin. Her family is grateful for the support shared by friends and neighbors, Terry and Robin Harmison, Barbara Williams, Penny Sheppard and Carol Antoniewicz.
