Hagerstown, MD Carol Ann Bussard, 73, of Hagerstown, passed away, Tuesday, May 18, 2014 at her home.
Born January 18, 1941 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late John and Violet Mae Kershner Ferguson.
Mrs. Bussard was a homemaker and a member of Covenant Life Church, Hagerstown.
She was a very compassionate and giving person. Always putting others before herself. She was a very hard worker, working various jobs caring for others and maintaining their homes and property. She was a very dedicated wife and mother to her family. Her love and dedication to her family will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 32 years, Ralph B. Bussard, Jr.; a daughter, Angela Wolff and husband Scott; two sons, James Reno and William Johnston; step daughter, Lucy Murray; step son, Greg Murray; one sister, Beverly Renner; one brother, Jack Ferguson; step mother, Rose Kershner and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Brad Kefauver officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Carol's name to the Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
