Catherine Louise Comer Miller, 101, of Hagerstown, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Ravenwood Nursing Home.
She was born in Washington County on September 7, 1915.
Catherine worked as a homemaker.
Catherine was a volunteer at the Maryland State Hospital. She was former member of St. John's Lutheran Church and a current member of Christ Reformed Church in Hagerstown.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Comer; her second husband Howard Miller; and her loving daughter, Beverly Ann Smith, who died in 1993.
Catherine is survived by her son-in-law, Gregory Smith; three grandchildren, Robert Smith, Daniel Smith, and Angela Smith; four great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Kameron, Austin, and Kyleigh; and 2 step-great-grandchildren, Nathan and Zachary.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Gregory Messerole officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
