Cathy Susan Swope

Cathy Susan Swope, 58, of Hagerstown, passed away, Saturday, June 11, 2016, at her daughters home.

Born May 2, 1958 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, John Edward and June Lorraine (Dawson) Swope. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her step father, Rollin Stahl; two infant daughters, Michelle Lynn Itnyre and Cathy Lynn Itnyre and one brother, Ronald Swope.

Cathy had worked for over 25 years for the former Washington County Hospital.

She was a member of the AmVets Post 10, Ladies Auxiliary, Hagerstown.

She is survived by one daughter, Chastity Lord and husband, Doug of Hagerstown; two grandchildren, Austin Sines and Courtland Hahn; three siblings, Debbie Rickett, Jeff Swope and Caroline Duhamel, all of Hagerstown; three step grandchildren, Colby Lord, Kelsie Parisi and Kaitlin Parisi; one step great grandson, Jonathan Dykas; her beloved dog, Zoey and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Kibreab Gudeta officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 7-9 P.M.
