Charles Elmer Showe, 81, of Hagerstown, passed away, Monday, March 16, 2015 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born October 27, 1933 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late, Paul I.Showe, Sr. and Mary (Finkey) Showe. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald, John, Harry, and David Showe.
Mr. Showe was employed as an automotive mechanic.
Mr. Showe is survived by his ex wife, Barbara J. (Basore) Showe Scott; six sons, Burton (Brenda) Showe of Clear Spring, Timmy (Evonne) Showe of Greencastle, Tony Showe of Hagerstown, Robert (Nancy) Showe of Fallon, Nevada, Darren Showe of Martinsburg and Joseph (Megen) Showe of Charles Town; one daughter, Suzanne (Jeffery) Sigler of Martinsburg; four siblings, Sue Brumage, Marlene Jackson, Paul Showe, Jr. and Carolyn Davis; 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
