Charles Joseph Boden

Charles Joseph Boden, 63, of Hagerstown, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011.
Born Dec. 21, 1947, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Van Homer and Eldeletta Mae (Noel) Boden.
He worked as a precision sheet-metal mechanic and was formerly employed by Victor Products and Danzer Metals.
Charles was a member of Williamsport Red Men Tribe 84, Sons of American Legion, Funkstown American Legion Post 211, Washington County AMVETS and Western Maryland Sportsman Club.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda E. (Younkins) Boden; a son, Michael J. Boden of Hagerstown; a brother, Denny Boden and wife, Cindy, of Hagerstown; two nieces, Kristin Boden and Jamie Boden; and nephew, Jeffery Monninger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Annajean McKnight; and brother, Richard Boden.
Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Blaine Feightner officiating. Mausoleum entombment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday one hour before the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
