Charles Randall Williams

C. Randall Williams, 75, of Hagerstown, passed away, Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at his home.

Born July 26, 1941 in Hagerstown he was the son of the late, C. C. Walker Williams and Helen (Karper) Williams.

Mr. Williams was president of C. R. Williams Incorporated where he was the area dealer for the Allen Organ Company. He had been the organist and choirmaster for several Hagerstown area churches as well as in Washington D.C. Mr. Williams also taught organ and has conducted master classes and workshops in organ performance. Mr. Williams was a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Baltimore, Md., State Academy of Music, Lubeck, Germany, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas and a member of the American Guild of Organists.

He was Lutheran by faith.

He is survived by, Richard O. Bowman, Jr. whom he raised as a son and wife Kristie of Hedgesville, W.Va.; one sister, N. Jane Suydam of Waynesboro, Pa.; one grandson, Alexander Richy Bowman; two step grandchildren, Mary Josephine Barnett and Skye Alyxzandra R. Dinterman.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 601 Washington St. Hagerstown with Rev. Stan Steele officiating. A reception will follow for family and friends.

Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Randy's name to the Washington National Cathedral, 3101 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20016.
