Christopher Tyler "Chris" Insley, 29, of Hagerstown, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, December 1, 2015.
Born November 19, 1986 in Hagerstown, he was the son of Aphary "Al" Insley and Diane C. Allen and her husband Charlie Allen.
Chris attended South Hagerstown High School. He worked in the construction industry.
Chris was a talented tattoo artist. He had a big heart and will be remembered as a very giving person.
In addition to his parents, Chris is also survived by his two beautiful sons, Alexander Spoonire and D'Angelo Insley; his sisters, Jessica Bowers, Candace Insley, Molly Starliper, Rebecca Fines; a brother, Jamie Allen; seven nieces; and four nephews. He also had a girlfriend, Stephanie Wheatley and an unborn child. Chris was also survived by his maternal grandmother, Mary Franklin; paternal grandparents, Donald and Dottie Insley; brother in-laws, Kevin Bowers, Lester Kenny, Donald Starliper; and a sister-in-law, Sarah Allen.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with uncle Dave Butler officiating. Friends will be received from 5-7pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
