Cletus Robert Meyer

Cletus Robert Meyer, 89, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010 at Ravenwood Lutheran Village in Hagerstown.
Born April 25, 1921 in Rossville, Kan., he was the son of the late Joseph and Cora Meyer.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He retired after 35 years as a lighting consultant at Allegheny Power.
Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus Pangborn Council No. 1365, in Hagerstown, as well as the Hagerstown Lions Club.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Frances (Thompson) Meyer, who passed away on Dec. 24, 2009.
Bob is survived by a daughter, Mary Kay Slechta of North Attleborough, Mass.; a son, Joe Meyer of Waynesboro, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Slechta.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family in Rest Haven Cemetery.
