Clifford Carroll Chaney, Sr., 65, of Hagerstown, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Meritus Medical Center.
Born on September 22, 1956 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Viola (Winters) and Elwood J. Chaney.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Chaney, and brother Raymond Chaney.
Clifford worked as a laborer for Vincent Groh.
He is survived by his loving wife; Lucille Chaney; one son; Clifford "Bud" Chaney, Jr.;Grandchildren, Tyler Chaney, Anna Graver and Abagail Chaney; Great-Grandchild, Scarlett Graver; Sisters, Desi McCarl, Darlene Renner, Tyenna Hart, Brenda Chaney and Hazel Long; Brothers, Oscar Chaney, Gary Chaney and Eddie Chaney, and many nieces can nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday, June 13, 2022 at 11 AM at Bakersville Cemetery, 17626 Bakersville Rd., Boonsboro with Pastor James Gross officiating.
Rest Haven Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
