Constance Joanne Long Noll

Constance Joanne (Long) Noll, 77, of Hagerstown, died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born Jan. 23, 1935, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Sr. and Helena Bright (Davis) Long.

Constance was a 1952 graduate of Hagerstown High School.

She was a golden member of Grace United Methodist Church in Hagerstown for more than 60 years; a member of Grace Sunday school class; a Sunday school teacher for primary and senior high; a superintendent of the junior department; a choir member; a former representative to the Methodist Council for young people held in Washington, D.C.; a former member of the Elks Lodge No. 378 ladies auxiliary; an associate member of the Golden Bulldogs; a past president of the Washington County Council of Beta Sigma Phi; and a former member of the Nu Phi Mu Sorority.

Constance retired as a head bank teller for the First National Bank of Maryland. She had previously worked in the offices of Two Guys and J.J. Newberry.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Gilbert Noll; two sons, Kirk Noll and wife, Ellen, of Williamsport., Scott Noll and wife, Mei Li, of Hagerstown; three sisters, Beverly LaPole and Patricia Crowther, both of Hagerstown, and Robin Mastiano of Williamsport; four brothers, Joseph A. Long Jr. of Mount Airy., Robert Long of Boonsboro, Ronald Long of Williamsport and Donald Long of Clear Spring; and six grandchildren, Katherine, David, Brandon, Matthew, Alexandra and Jacob.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 19, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Clark D. Carr officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
