Dennis Lynn Reed, 67, of Hagerstown, passed away, Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born August 10, 1953 in Hagerstown he was the son of Betty Jean (Williams) Reed Moore and the late, John Harrison Reed. In addition to his father he also was preceded in death by his mother in law, Betty Dundus and a grandson, Gabriel M. Reed.
Dennis retired as an IT Specialist for HomeCall, Frederick, Md.
He attended Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Hagerstown.
In addition to his mother he also is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sandy Lou (Dundus) Reed; one son, Matthew J. Reed and wife, Maria; one granddaughter, Grace M. Reed; father in law, Ted Dundus, Sr. and friend, Wilma Clark; niece, Kara Shaffer and husband, Matt; nephew, Frank Hottle, Jr. and wife, Nichol; two brothers in law, Ken Townsend and Ted Dundus, Jr.; two sisters in law, Penny Townsend and Tammy Dundus.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 802 Summit Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Randy Reid officiating. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Dennis's name to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
