Diane Marie (Williams) Starliper, 62, of Hagerstown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 22, 2013 at her home while surrounded by family.
Born April 8, 1951 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late George Vernon, Jr. and Beverly Ellen (Bloom) Williams.
She was a 1969 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
Diane worked as a caregiver at Loyalton Nursing Home.
She was a member of Salem Reformed Church in Hagerstown. She enjoyed yard sales and spending time with the patrons.
Diane is survived by her husband of nine years, Gary Lee Starliper, Sr.; three children, Donald Charles Smith, III, Michael Shawn Smith, Amber Elizabeth Watkins; a step daughter, Heather Viola Starliper; a brother, George "David" Williams; a sister, Denise Elizabeth Grab; three grandchildren, Zachariah Kain Watkins, Jessica Marie McCauley and Jeremiah Lee McCauley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Charles Smith, Jr.; and a step son, Gary Lee Starliper, Jr.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Steve Wagoner officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6-8pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Diane's name to Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742., to defray funeral expenses.
