Dollie May Blair, 83, of Hagerstown, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Washington County Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born May 14, 1927, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Allen Daniel and Mary (Gossard) Baker.

She graduated from the Leitersburg School.

She was a member of the Hagerstown First Church of God.

Dollie had worked as a fountain clerk at Superior Dairy, as a folder for the Knitting Mill in Waynesboro, and was a homemaker and mother.

She was a charter member of Leitersburg Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, Senior Citizens of Leitersburg, past member of N. Hagerstown Lions Club and had assisted her husband with Disabled American Veterans in hospitals and nursing homes.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Robert W. Blair; a daughter, Linda May Flurie and husband Allen of Maugansville; a son, Robert S. Blair and wife Diane of Greencastle; granddaughters, Donna Lynn Fidler and husband Mark, and Tammi Wolfinger and husband Gary, both of Hagerstown; great-granddaughter, Amanda McDaniel of Hagerstown; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Howard Baker; and two sisters, Nora Hull and Mary Lushbaugh. Dollie was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown, with Pastor Ernie Pletchen officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
