Dolores Ann Shaw

Dolores Ann Shaw, 87, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully at Homewood Healthcare Center on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
Born on October 30, 1932 in Hagerstown, Dolores was the daughter of the late Alvin and Hilda (Hose) Baker. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Harry Reginald Shaw; and her brother, Alvin D. Baker.
Dolores was a devoted wife and mother. After raising five daughters, she went to college to pursue her dream to start a career in Nursing and worked as a nurse at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD for many years. She was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.
Dolores is survived by her daughters, Siri Shaw (Dave Carter) of Gambrills, MD; Kathy Shane of Hanover, PA; Kelly Rohrer (James) of Boonsboro, MD; Amy Shaw of Hagerstown, MD; and Lara Campbell (Robert) of Kensington, MD; as well as her sister, Dorinda Roof (Raymond) of Smithsburg, MD. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda Shane of Hanover, PA; Alison Shane of Baltimore, MD; Jordan Stolar, of Columbia, MD; Matthew Stolar of Columbia, MD; and Jesse Rohrer (Liz) of Sharpsburg, MD; as well as her great-granddaughters, Addison, Audrey, and Ashtyn Rohrer of Sharpsburg, MD; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to offer a special Thank You to the staff of Homewood for the wonderful care they provided, and also to special friend Christine Gompers for all her love, care, and support.
A funeral service will be held at Rest Haven Funeral Home on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Douglas Wagner officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dolores' name to The Arc Outreach Program at 18450 Showalter Road, Suite 102, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
