Donna Jean Kline

Donna Jean Kline, 73, of Hagerstown, passed away, Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the home of her daughter in Waynesboro, Pa.

Born December 1, 1942 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, George Columbus Tracy and Helen Viola (Dawson) Hargett. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 29 years, George William "Bill" Kline, Jr. and one sister, Kay Lavon Tracy.

Mrs. Kline had worked as a bartender for Mel's Tavern, the Silver Bell and the Eagles Club, previously she was a clerk at Eyerly's (Bon Ton) and a tanner at GST Auto Leather, Williamsport.

She was a member of the Salvation Army, Hagerstown; past president of the F.O.E. Ladies Auxiliary Aries 694, Hagerstown; a former Cub Scout Den Mother and a Girl Scout Leader; she was an avid Baltimore Ravens and NASCAR fan, she loved the outdoors, gardening, playing cards and bingo and was on the shuffle board league at Harman's Tavern.

She is survived by two daughters, Tracey L. Dayhoff and husband, Mark of Waynesboro and Kay L. Hoffman of Hagerstown; one brother, George "Butch" Tracy of Wake Forest, NC; four grandchildren, Scott Hoffman, Shawna Beard and husband, Michael, Shayla Hoffman and Lauren Draper and husband, Rodney; one great grandson, Grayson Tucker Draper and one on the way; boyfriend, Joseph "Mammy" Denice, Sr. of Hagerstown.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Major Butch Mallard and her uncle, Elder Garry Dawson officiating.

Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 7-9 P.M.
