Donna Wray (Bartles) Rogers, 56, of Hagerstown, passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at NMS Healthcare Center in Hagerstown.
Born May 8, 1955, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of T. Wendy Gardner of Hagerstown and the late Raymond Bartles.
Donna was a graduate of Hagerstown Business College and had worked for the city of Hagerstown, was a creative mortgage specialist and worked for Citicorp in their fraud division.
Donna was a former member of the Eagles Club in Hagerstown. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and flower arranging. Her dinner parties were always a memorable experience for family and friends.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving companion of 30 years, Darrell D. Hull of Hagerstown; a daughter, Billie Jo Mainhart and husband, Thomas, of Baltimore; four sisters, Maurica Barnhart, Faith Bryan and Tammy Bartles, all of Hagerstown, and Mary Kemph of Indiana; two brothers, Jay Drury of Hagerstown, and Jeremy Drury of New York; a grandson, Colby Lord of Boonsboro; and two granddaughters, Kaitlin Parisi and Kelsie Parisi, both of Florida.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating. Inurnment will be private.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Donnaâ??s name to the American Red Cross of Washington County, 113 S. Prospect St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
