Doris Jane Brinton Moore, 89, of Hagerstown, passed away, Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Charlotte's Home, Maugansville.
Born October 5, 1926 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, David Milton and Frances Caroline (Heil) Brinton. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Charles Moore and one sister, Frances Margaret (Brinton) Crosswhite.
Doris worked as a packing clerk for Maryland Ribbon, Hagerstown.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hagerstown.
Doris is survived by one daughter, Christina Ann (Moore) Mentzer and husband Ed of Hagerstown; three grandchildren, Kellie A. Kofoet, Mary Catherine Cantner and Jennifer B. Barr; six great grandchildren, Timothy J. Kofoet II, Jacob E. Kofoet, Paige Cantner, Kourtney A. Kofoet, Madison A. Cantner and Addison Barr.
A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Chaplain Kibreab B. Gudeta officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Charlotte's Home, Amber Ragland and Kathy Ragland.
