Doris Lorraine Sigley

Doris Lorraine (West) Sigley, 77, of Hancock, Md., formerly of Hagerstown, peacefully left this world to move on to the next on Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.
Born Feb. 25, 1933, in Hanover, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harvey M. and Mae Elizabeth (Mullenix) West.
She retired from Washington County Public Schools as a cafeteria aide.
She is survived by her loving husband, Morris Sigley; a daughter, Barbara Ann Griffin of Corpus Christi, Texas.; two sons, James Itnyre of Hagerstown and Ronald Sigley of Hancock; a brother, Dick West of Cortland, Ala.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Pastor Gerrard Fess officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
