Dorothy Deemer

Dorothy Deemer, 91, of Boonsboro, passed away, Friday, September 30, 2016, at Julia Manor Health Care Center, Hagerstown.

Born January 18, 1925 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late, Carl G. and Edith (Molisee) Stiles. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband, George L. Deemer; a daughter, Cathy J. Heberlig; a grandson, Michael J. Heberlig and a brother, Wilbur Stiles.

Mrs. Deemer worked as a manager for Big N Discount Stores in Pennsylvania.

She was a member of Lifehouse Church, Hagerstown.

She is survived by one son, John D. Deemer.; one daughter, Joyce D. Winters and husband, Gary; five grandchildren, Michelle L. Rodeheaver and husband, Michael, Steven J. Winters and wife Mary Ann, Rebekah S. Shirbach, Joshua Deemer and Jason Deemer; five great grandchildren, McKinsey B. Winters, Robert Allen Winters, Corey B. Schnur, Moriah Davis and Annika Davis; one great great granddaughter, Maleah Davis.

Funeral services will conducted on Thursday, October 6, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Robert Krempels officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
