Douglas Scott "Doug" Hollar, 50, of Hagerstown, passed away, Saturday, September 19, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born August 18, 1970 in Hagerstown he was the son of David Scott and Lois Ann (May) Hollar of Hagerstown.
Doug was a 1988 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.
He had worked as a master mechanic for Conservit Inc. of Hagerstown.
Doug was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hagerstown and his hobbies included fishing, guns and working on cars.
In addition to his parents he also is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kelli Jonette (Pottorff) Hollar; two children, Kera Hollar and significant other, Raekwon Momen and Seth Hollar; two grandchildren, Kentrell Momen and Kyzier Momen; one brother, Daniel Hollar and significant other, Teresa Everly; several nieces and nephews including, Audrey Hollar,Toby Hollar, Nicole Pottorff, Cheyenne Pottorff, Jonette Cunningham and Andrew Pottorff.
A casual attire funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Margaret Clemons officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Reformed Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The funeral home will open at 8:30 A.M. for anyone wishing to pay their respects before calling hours.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Doug's name to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
