Edith Leona (Brinton) Seal, 91, of Hagerstown, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at NMS Healthcare.
Born November 5, 1921 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late Abram S. and Bertha Blaine (Springer) Brinton.
Edith was a graduate of Hagerstown High School. She worked as a pharmacy technician assistant at People's Drug Store and CVS for 53 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Dixie L. Sirbaugh and husband Junior of Boonsboro; a son, Ronnie Lacey and wife Dianna of Hagerstown; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Edward Seal, Jr.; five brothers; two sisters; and a great-granddaughter, Danielle Smith.
Edith was not only the youngest of her family, but the last surviving member.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
