Clarence Edward Cramer Sr., 84, of Williamsport, passed away Friday, June 11, 2010, at Washington County Hospital.

Born June 3, 1926, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Clarence G. and Leah Catherine (Grimbine) Cramer.

Mr. Cramer retired from Fairchild Aircraft in 1980 after 20 years of service.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a lifetime member of VFW Post 1936 of Hagerstown.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nora Lee ((Mulligan) Cramer; two daughters, Catherine Locklear and husband, Jim, of North Carolina and Nora Jane Baker of Hagerstown; two sons, Clarence E. Cramer Jr. and wife, Vicki, of Hagerstown and Daniel G. Cramer and wife, Gloria, of Washington state; two brothers, Lisle "Ted" Cramer and wife, Ruann, and Charles Cramer; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Rayetta Hull, Mavin Stotler, Waneta Sigler and Leona Bowers.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Edward L. Poling officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
