Edward Eugene Crabtree, 70, of Hagerstown, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born on May 30, 1951 in Old Town, MD, he was the son of the late Eleanor (Crites) and Allen Crabtree.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 22 years, Emma Jean Crabtree, two brothers; Kenneth W. Crabtree and James R. Crabtree.
Edward graduated from Old Town High School, Old Town, MD, class of 1969.
He was a member of Upton Full Gospel Church in Upton, PA for many years.
Edward worked in Steel Manufacturing and most recently as a Fork Lift Operator for Food Lion.
He is survived by his son; Marvin Lee Crabtree of Hagerstown, Daughter; Jenny Burke of Hagerstown, Step-Daughters; Betty Nation of Greencastle, PA, Carol Butts of Boonsboro, June Sena and husband Jeff of Sandwich, IL, Vickie Bolf of Hagerstown, and Sue DeMarco of Hagerstown, Brother; Jerry Crabtree of Old Town, MD, Sister; Cindy Dillsworth of Cumberland, 5 Grandchildren, 14 Step- Grandchildren and 25 Great-Grandchildren.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
