Edward Haller Jones

Edward Haller Jones, 73, of Boonsboro, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at his home.

Born July 11, 1942 in Morgantown, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Anna L. (Lewis) Jones. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Jones.

Edward worked as a truck driver most of his life. After retirement, he starting working for Washington County Public Schools as a bus driver.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church; Redman Tribe #84; American Legion Post 202; and was a former member of the Moose Club. Edward enjoyed baseball and football, especially the Redskins and Orioles! He also loved watching classic western movies.

He is survived by three children, Randy Jones (Elizabeth), Tammy Wade, Jeni Brothers (Jaime); a sister, Shirley Reed; his best friend, Orville See; five grandchildren, Ashley (Jones) Taylor (Aaron), Hanna Wade, Ty Wade, Charles Jones, Camren Brothers; and four great-grandchildren, Cayden, Kyra, Jed and Makylyn.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 PA Ave., Hagerstown. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 7-9pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
