Edward Leroy Chip Bussard, Jr.

Edward Leroy "Chip" Bussard, Jr., 60, of Hagerstown, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 at his home.
Born January 6, 1957, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Edward Leroy Bussard, Sr. and Jane Louise (Gordon) Bussard Myers. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Donna Farrow.
Chip was a 1975 graduate of Williamsport High School. He went on to obtain an Associates Arts Degree from HCC.
Chip loved to play and listen to music. He was a sports fan, avid reader, and enjoyed nature.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Julie Ann (Phillips) Bussard; two sons, Benjamin Bussard (Kayla) and David Bussard (John); three grandchildren, Sophia Bussard, Jackson Bussard, and Stephen Lehman; an uncle, Bob Gordon; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Betty Jones officiating.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and again following the service.
Inurnment will be private.
