Edward Lester Reynolds, III

Edward Lester Reynolds III, 62, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Hagerstown on Sept. 7, 1955 to the late Dorothy Irene (Allen) and Edward Lester Reynolds, Sr.

He was the loving husband of Loretta Mae (Cunningham) Reynolds whom he married on April 27, 1991.

Mr. Reynolds worked for Pepsi Cola Co. before becoming disabled. He loved working with his hands. Whether it be working on cars, drawing, wood working or making his entire family Christmas ornaments every year. He was a kind and giving man and his family meant everything to him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Edward Arthur Reynolds and fiancee Jaclyn Smith of Hagerstown; a daughter Michelle Ann McMillan of Boonsboro; a brother Donnie Lee Reynolds of Hagerstown; three sisters Irene Virginia Wilcox of Hagerstown, Patricia Lee Henson of Hagerstown, and Bonnie Marie Stufft of Melvin IA; three grandsons Randy L Rhoton, Jr. of Martinsburg, WV, Brandon M. Riedle of Hagerstown and Bradley A. Riedle of Hagerstown; and a great granddaughter Serenity M. Rhoton whom he adored and numerous nephews and nieces.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers Edward Lester Reynolds Jr. and Eugene Norris Reynolds; three sisters Rosalie Nave, Beverly Ann Glaze Lewis and Phyllis McKenzie; and a nephew James Edward Wilcox.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, Nov. 30 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Home Inc., with Rev Edward Myers and Rev. Ronald James officiating. Interment will follow in Manor Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday from 7 to 9pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to Rest Haven Funeral Home, Inc. 1601 Pennsylvania Ave Hagerstown, MD 21742 to help defray the funeral expenses.
