Edward Norman Brown, Sr.

Edward Norman Brown, Sr., 80, of Mimbres, NM, formerly of Hagerstown, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014.
Born September 25, 1934 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Merle Norman and Mildred Elsie (Bussard) Brown.
He retired from Pangborn Corp. as a sheet metal worker.
Edward is survived by his ex wife and companion, Alma Brown of Mimbres, NM; five children, Cathy Marie Decker and husband Ren of Mimbres, NM, Edward N. Brown, Jr. and fiancé Melissa of Silver City, NM, David M. Brown of Mimbres, NM, Kristie Carol Barnhart and husband Charles of Hagerstown, Elsie Lorraine Brown and fiancé Robert West of Hagerstown; a sister, Madeline Louise Cline and husband Robert of Hagerstown; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Ed and Alma were married for 26 1/2 years and then divorced. They remained companions in Mimbres, NM, through the very end of Ed's life. She was the love of his life.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00pm on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
