Edwin Kieffer Shrader, Sr.

Edwin Kieffer Shrader, Sr.,78, of Hagerstown, passed away, Friday, November 20, 2015 at his residence.
Born May 2, 1937 in Hagerstown he was the son of the late, William B. Shrader, Sr. and Charlotte (Bickle) Shrader. In addition he also was preceded in death by a son, Philip Shrader and a brother, William B. Shrader, Jr.
Mr. Shrader retired as a switch operator from the Pennsylvania Railroad in Harrisburg, Pa.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, The Little's Club and the Loyal Order of Moose, all of Hagerstown.
His hobbies included dancing and he was an avid trout fisherman.
He is survived by four children, Edwin Shrader, Jr. of Hagerstown, Yovonna Benner of Winchester, Va., Anthony Shrader and Benita Moats, both of Hagerstown; two brothers, Calvin Shrader and Guy Wayne Shrader, both of Hagerstown; three sisters, Virginia Rodgers and Johanna Fouke, both of Hagerstown and Judith Harshman of West Virginia; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating.
