Elsie Catherine Naile, 90, of Waynesboro, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Quincy Village.
Born October 30, 1926 in Edgemont, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Delbert Sanders and Lois Gertrude (Stouffer) Barkdoll.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
She retired as a crossing guard with the Washington County Sherriff's Dept.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Harry Edward Naile, Sr., who died April 10, 1989; five brothers, Delbert, Edward, Richard, Dale, Arthur; and three sisters, Isabell, Lois, and Louise.
Elsie is survived by her two loving sons, Gerald W. Naile and H. Edward Naile; a brother, Samuel Barkdoll; three sisters, Helen Black, Julia O'Neil, and Regina Woodring; five grandchildren, Lisa Naile, Wendy Mann, Kilie Jones, Coy Naile, and Chad Naile; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Rev. Julie Bringham officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
